Precise flange guides promote the lubricating film, and separable rings facilitate assembly and inspection. In the NUP design, two flanges on the outer ring and one flange plus a loose flange disc on the inner ring ensure axial guidance in both directions. Depending on the version, a sheet steel cage is included (J).
