This bearing combines high radial load capacity with efficient friction characteristics; variants with a suitable flange design provide limited axial guidance and ensure smooth running. With optimized bearing clearance or defined preload, a robust process with repeatable results is achieved.

Design and manufacturing quality
Through linear contact and an optimized, logarithmic profile, the rollers distribute the load evenly. The flange design promotes lubrication, and the separable rings simplify assembly. In the NUP design, two flanges on the outer ring and one flange plus a loose flange disc on the inner ring ensure axial guidance in both directions. Depending on the version, a polyamide cage (P) is included.

In operation, this results in high load-bearing capacity despite a compact design, stable temperature and vibration levels, and predictable quality even under fluctuating loads and speeds. Precise alignment remains important because angular adjustability is limited.
