NJ 2318 ECML/C3 – Cylindrical roller bearings for reliable results under varying operating conditions

Design and manufacturing quality
The cylindrical rollers run with line contact; a logarithmic roller profile relieves stress on the edges. Precise flange guides promote the lubricating film, and separable rings facilitate assembly and inspection. In the NJ design, two flanges on the outer ring and one flange on the inner ring guide the rollers; axial guidance is provided in one direction. Depending on the version, a solid brass cage (ML) is used. The internal bearing clearance corresponds to C3.
