Defined axial guidance combined with high stiffness ensures reproducible results; radial loads must be guided separately.

A precision cage guides the cylindrical rollers, distributing the load over a narrow zone through linear contact. Finely machined contact surfaces keep frictional torque low and ensure smooth running. The separable, easy-to-assemble design facilitates joining with the separate mating surfaces. For this purpose, flat, hardened, and load-bearing mating surfaces are used on the shaft and housing, as the angular adjustability is very limited. Depending on the version, the ring is constructed with a polyamide cage (TV), manufactured to tolerance class P0, and implemented with raceway-compatible steel components.
