A precision cage guides cylindrical rollers and ensures linear contact for load distribution. The contact surfaces are finely machined, keeping the frictional torque low. Furthermore, the separable, assembly-friendly design facilitates joining with the separate mating surfaces. For this purpose, flat, hardened, and load-bearing mating surfaces are used on the shaft and housing, as the angular adjustability is very limited. Depending on the version, the ring is constructed with a polyamide cage (TV), manufactured to tolerance class P0, and implemented with raceway-compatible steel components.
