K81108-TV – Axial cylindrical roller ring for weight-sensitive applications with constant performance.

Quality that safeguards processes
The axial cylindrical roller ring, in combination with suitable counter-running surfaces, carries very high axial loads in one direction, while maintaining a low overall height and smooth running characteristics. Defined axial guidance combined with high rigidity ensures reproducible results; radial loads must be guided separately.

Design and manufacturing quality
A precision cage guides cylindrical rollers and ensures linear contact for load distribution. Finely machined contact surfaces keep friction low and promote smooth running. Furthermore, the separable and easy-to-assemble design allows for quick joining with the separate mating surfaces. This is achieved using flat, hardened, and sufficiently load-bearing raceways on both the shaft and housing sides, while the angular adjustability remains very limited due to the design. Depending on the version, the ring is constructed with a polyamide cage (TV), manufactured to tolerance class P0, and implemented with raceway-compatible steel components.

Convincing in everyday life
In operation, the design achieves high axial stiffness in a very compact footprint, which promotes stable temperature and vibration levels. Furthermore, the separate discs allow for quick handling, thus reducing downtime. In addition, a suitable lubrication and fitting concept ensures consistent properties over the long term.

Summary
Conclusion: flat design, high load-bearing capacity in the axial direction and low friction – for reliable results under axially dominant loads.
