C 3144 – CARB roller bearings for reliable operation without edge pressure

Designed in a CARB version, this roller bearing can withstand very high radial loads. It automatically compensates for angular misalignment and simultaneously allows for axial length compensation of the shaft within the housing. The low frictional torque promotes smooth running and a stable temperature level. This makes the bearing particularly suitable as a floating bearing in arrangements with thermally induced expansion.

Design and manufacturing quality
Raceways and profiled rollers minimize edge pressure and ensure consistent rolling contact. A stable cage guide and finely machined contact surfaces keep friction low. This bearing combines angular compensation and axial displacement in a single unit. Depending on the design, the bearing is available with a cylindrical bore, an open design, and a sheet steel cage.
