Quality that safeguards processes
Axial spherical roller bearings can accommodate very high axial loads in one direction. They also carry limited radial forces and, thanks to their spherical contact with the housing washer, automatically compensate for misalignment. This ensures smooth running and clearly defined axial guidance. Temperature and vibration are well controlled. For axial loads in both directions, two bearings or an alternative bearing arrangement are required.

Design and manufacturing quality
First, a spherical raceway in the housing disc ensures reliable contact. Symmetrical rollers, profiled for edge relief, distribute the forces evenly. A solid cage, often made of brass, stabilizes the guide and promotes smooth running. Precision-machined contact surfaces reduce friction and protect the surfaces. Because the wave washer, housing disc, and roller set with cage are separable, assembly can be carried out step by step. At the same time, the adjustable angle allows for compensation of minor misalignments. This version is made of pressed sheet steel, precision-manufactured in standard (P0) grade, and temperature-stable from -30°C to +200°C.

Convincing in everyday life
The high axial stiffness pays off in operation. This ensures consistent and easily controllable running quality, even under impact conditions. With flat seating surfaces and a suitable lubrication regime, availability remains predictable.
