294/630 EM – Axial spherical roller bearings for controlled temperature and vibration levels.

Quality that safeguards processes
Axial spherical roller bearings can accommodate very high axial loads in one direction. They also carry limited radial forces and, thanks to their spherical contact with the housing washer, automatically compensate for misalignment. This ensures smooth running and clearly defined axial guidance. Temperature and vibration are well controlled. For axial loads in both directions, two bearings or an alternative bearing arrangement are required.

Design and manufacturing quality
The design combines a spherical raceway in the housing disc with symmetrical, profile-optimized rollers. This results in a wide contact zone and controlled force distribution into the bearing. A solid cage maintains stability and supports smooth movement. Precisely machined surfaces reduce friction and improve running characteristics. The separable shaft disc, housing disc, and roller assembly with cage ensure a traceable assembly process. This allows for reliable compensation of minor misalignment. This version is made of solid brass, precision-manufactured in standard (P0) grade, and temperature-stable from -30°C to +200°C.

Convincing in everyday life
Under practical conditions, the bearing exhibits consistent vibration behavior. It provides secure axial guidance and runs smoothly, even when occasional shocks occur. Clean seating surfaces and application-appropriate lubrication ensure long-term performance stability.

Summary
Self-aligning, axially high load-bearing capacity and low friction – for stable processes and reliable results under axially dominant loads.
